Our Confirmation Program- Confirming Disciples, is simply a process in which we are confirming Disciples of Christ and sending them out into the world to live as Christ for others.

The Confirmation Program does not have weekly classes that you must attend, but rather a set of requirements that we ask are fulfilled. All Confirmation programs are held at the parish, as opposed to "in the home." The Confirmation Program consists of:

Faith Days: A catechetical session in which the youth learn the fundamentals of their faith; church teachings, doctrine, Catholic Social Teachings, Gifts of the Holy Spirit, etc... These mandatory days are held approximately once a month on Sunday from 2:00 PM-6:30 PM in the Kennedy Center and include evening mass.

Bishop Talk: Generally held at a neighboring Catholic parish, our Bishop comes to address the youth and their questions.

Church Tour: Youth and Sponsors will tour the church with a "tour guide," learning about the church, it's history and what makes our parish unique.
Explanation Mass: Youth and Sponsors will go through each aspect of the mass with a priest, having their questions answered along the way. This will be done as a large group.

Service: This service is two-fold: Youth will be asked to do service on their own as well as with a sponsor. In addition to this service, they will be required to participate in Mass Service (as ushers, lectors, ministers of hospitality etc...)

Youth Gatherings: Youth will be expected to participate in a variety of youth gatherings including youth nights, service nights, scripture study, retreats or regional trips.

Retreats: First year students are required to attend a day long retreat, where as second year students are asked to to attend an overnight retreat (the cost for these retreats are included in your tuition.)
